Friends of Atlanta Youth Academy,

PLEASE watch this Short video from Georgia GOAL Scholarship President, Lisa Kelly.

As you think about filing your 2011 tax return, you may be looking for a great way to reduce your taxes and support a great organization. Have we got a deal for you!

GIVE TO GOAL in 2012...
As we move into our 3rd year participating with GOAL, we want to THANK YOU for participating and redirecting your GA tax to benefit the students of AYA!

We have raised close to $250,000 over the past 3 years to help toward student scholarships, let’s KEEP IT UP!

GIVE NOW, as in 2011, $2 million had to be returned to taxpayers due to the $50 million cap being met earlier than expected, and they forecast the $51.5 cap could be met by September this year!

ADDITIONAL WAYS YOU CAN HELP TO GET US CLOSER TO OUR GOAL:
  • Have your colleagues at work give to GOAL. Gather friends and coworkers together at your home or office and we’ll come share with the group how they can partner with AYA and GOAL. We will provide all of the information and forms to be filled out.
  • Corporations can receive a tax credit for $$ given to GOAL. “C” corporations are able to give up to 75% of their annual Georgia income tax liability. “S” Corporations, LLCs and Partnerships can only give up the individual limits of their owners ($2,500 or $1,000). Let us know of any C Corps who might be willing to support AYA— with up to 75% of earnings eligible, this could be a huge opportunity to support AYA through redirected funds.

THANK YOU ON BEHALF OF THE STUDENTS OF AYA.
