Atlanta Youth Academy is committed to providing students with an educational experience that prepares them for the demands of high school and beyond. The use of technology, within and outside the classrooms, enables students to learn essential 21st century skills. At AYA, every classroom is equipped with Promethean interactive whiteboards and teachers create innovative opportunities for students to utilize Google Chromebooks and other technology tools across subject areas.

AYA teachers acknowledge the important role technology plays in preparing students to be effective communicators and collaborators, both in the school setting and beyond. Therefore, teachers provide opportunities for students to hone their critical thinking skills and demonstrate creativity. Often these experiences involve the use of technology, and students are taught how to use technology in an appropriate and responsible way while independently applying new knowledge through projects, presentations, and                                                                                             online research.
