Partners on the Path to Excellence

Thank you for your interest in our purposeful and transformational program. We partner with our community and our families to create a nurturing and successful environment for students, teachers, staff, parents, and families.

Since the day our doors opened in 1997, AYA has been focused on inspiring students to make a difference in the community and world. We have high expectations for our students and families.

Discover AYA

Christ-Centered Approach

We see every one of our students as a child of God. We seek to nurture every student at AYA while setting clear boundaries to help them be successful. We are passionate about noticing the positive in every child and vigilant to hold kids accountable to being their best.

Smaller Class Size

About 16 students per class means your child will have more specialized instruction and attention compared to a class with 22-30 students, which is the typical class size for charter/public schools. This individual instruction is paramount to a student’s success.

Hands-On Instruction

The traditional whole-group teaching method does not guarantee students are being taught on their level. We spend a large part of our instructional time allowing students to learn using hands-on activities in both independent and teacher-led groups.

Exposure Opportunities

At AYA, we want our students to experience the world around them instead of just reading books about it. We are committed to giving students experiential opportunities by taking trips outside of the classroom and campus. Our students experience incredible possibilities.

The AYA Spirit

At AYA, our community members are filled with the spirit of learning and joy every day. Walking through our hallways, you can sense the energy of our teachers and students. Our partnership approach reflects our belief that we are stronger and can accomplish more together.

Beyond AYA

As a PreK—Eighth grade school, our objective is to graduate students who strive to continue their education—100% of our graduates matriculate to high school. Our students’ high school success reflects the strength of our academic and character development program.

“The other students and families at AYA have become like my extended family. The love we share for one another is truly an Agape love that I believe God created for all to experience. It’s so great we can experience that in our school.”
