Since the day our doors opened in 1997, AYA has been focused on inspiring students to boldly serve the Lord and to strive to make a difference in their community and in the world.
One of the ways this intention is made manifest is in the Honor Code which is prominently displayed in every classroom and creates overarching spirit of honesty and integrity: “On my honor, as an Atlanta Youth Academy student, I pledge that I have neither given nor received improper assistance in completion of any assignment.”

Care is available for all students after the school day and students are given time to play, learn, socialize, and experience new opportunities for academic, social, personal, and spiritual growth.

Service Learning
Serving others is an important part of a student’s learning here. Teachers encourage students to widen their perspective by learning about needs within the local and global community. Throughout the year, students take part in several service learning opportunities

School Nutrition Program
Thanks to the support of our faithful partners, we launched our first-ever School Nutrition program in December 2021. Our program provides a hot breakfast, hot lunch, and after-school snack for every student at no additional cost.
