After School Care is available from the end of the regular school day (2:30 p.m. for Pre-K—fifth grade, 3:00 p.m. for sixth—eighth grade) until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each day, an hour is dedicated for students to study, read, and complete homework. With a ratio of approximately 16:1, staff members in AYA’s After Care Program work closely with students and are available to answer questions during this important academic time.
Time is set aside daily for homework, hearty snacks and free play. Additionally, students are grouped by grade range to foster enhanced social and emotional development as they participate in an assortment of fun and competitive extracurricular activities as well as arts & crafts, and organized games.
