As part of AYA’s personalized approach and intimately-scaled environment, the extracurricular activities offered for students vary based on age, interest, and time of year. Students have access to a wide array of experiences that are meant to instill confidence, teach new skills, build community, and provide fun learning opportunities alongside peers and adults.

Academic competitions provide enriching experiences for students to compete and collaborate in a variety of subject areas. Students are encouraged to carefully prepare for these competitions which are exciting and challenging school-wide events.

Clubs and athletic teams provide students with opportunities to pursue interests or build skills in academic, athletic, or artistic areas. Many of AYA’s teachers support individual student interests and passions through sponsorship of various clubs.
